Happy Anniversary!!!

My mom and dad have been married 35 years today. I'm so impressed. May they have another 35 years together. Here is a celebratory cup of coffee. Wish I was there to actually drink it for you.

Many happy returns of the day to your parents (isn't it a blessing to have parents who show you how it's done?). But, I must ask, were the swirls of cream on your coffee purposefully made to look like happy-face bunnies?

And, if so, how did you do that? 'cause my kids would love that.

THANK YOU! It IS our anniversary! We took an hour's walk to start the day and stopped off at Starbucks for the first cup of strong coffee. No swirls or decorations on the coffee though. Portland, Oregon ISN'T Kenya after all, and Starbucks hasn't learned how to do swirls like the Dorman's coffee shop in Nairobi. You can't have everything. Where would you put it. But 35 years and Oregon in August is really pretty good. I'm remembering a few lines scrawled on a wall somewhere called "Oregon August" -- Blackberries, by the stream in the forest, inside the city. -- How can we do better than that. Missing you. x0 ME

Jessica,
Unfortunately, I have No idea how to achieve such wonderful bunnies, although I would love to learn. This picture was taken at Dorman's Coffee Shop in Nairobi. Every time we went there was some fabulous picture in the foam. Someday I'm going to get a coffee shop job just to learn how to do this.
