God is gracious and merciful, abounding in steadfast love

We found our kitty. He was hiding in the old house. Finally, by going at the basement wall a little, we were able to pet and coax him out. I'm so so grateful to God. And very grateful to the people with dio CNY who were gracious enough to call us and let us into the house and help us get him out. He is a little thin, and he is currently hiding somewhere in this house, but he's home. Thank you all so much for praying.

Oh, thank God! I was thinking about your poor cat last evening after reading your blog, and your mention of him (her?). I'm so grateful and happy for you all. Hiding is natural, after what the cat went through and then being brought to a new place.

btw, almost forgot (not that I think you wouldn't be aware of it, it's just that I'm such a nervous nelly about such things, it'd drive me crazy if I didn't go through the motions of posting this, sorry. :) ) be sure that the cat gets lots of water to rehydrate. If it's been a long time since she or she has had enough water, it's needed for his/her kidneys to start flushing built up toxins out. Also, be prepared for accidents, as it's more than just getting used to a new place. Getting used to enough to drink and eat again might throw off even years of sandbox training.

Your mother is VERY HAPPY. We have all been praying for that cat. God has answered the fervent prayers of a bunch of sinners. Meanwhile, we seem to have lost a couple of cats here to snakes. Mary has been missing a week, Big Merry even longer, and today the neighbors said that their beautiful black cat was killed by a snake. So we are VERY THANKFUL that Banderleigh is safe.
