For the Grandparents

G cut that wretched tooth on Monday, or Tuesday (already can't remember). AND she slept through the night last night, completely (10pm to 6:30pm Amazing).

And, I think we have a clincher on the homeschooling thing.
E came down after going to bed last night crying because 'she wants more time with us, at home'. She stayed up with me until 10 talking about all kinds of things. I've heard that kids are interesting to talk to, for long periods of time, but this is the first moment any of them (well, just her) have been old enough. We talked mostly about boarding school-the awful food, the missing of parents, the being allowed to cook food in the dorm when you get old enough, and how great it is that 1 she doesn't have to go and 2 so far from that, she can learn at home. We talked about how we might structure the day, and create a school space and everything. A good time was had by all.

We are so proud of our little Gwendolyn!!! (and relieved for her parents!) Everyone finally got a whole nights sleep and Gwendolyn has one beautiful tooth to show for it all.

I am so glad that Emma was able to tell you how she feels. It does seem to be the answer...out of the mouths of babes. I was praying that God would kind of bop you on the head with the right answer because that is a tough one to decide, and He did just that through our sweet Emma. Being Mimi, my heart broke to think she is so unhappy, but I am so grateful that you are the kind of parent who doesn't mind staying up till "whatever" to help her through it. You knew just the right things to say.

Oh, Doug sent Matt an email so can you be sure he sees it? I know he get so many he might miss it. Thanks. Love, Shawn

Whoo Hooo! Another Anglican Homeschool family! We are a very small group, so it is always fun to have another.

Hello from a homeschooling clergy family in MA--We've been holding you in prayer during the Current Unpleasantness (I think they call this "blessing them in their going"), and now will pray for confirmation and guidance on the family issue of homeschooling. My 5 students range from pre-school to 5th grade. Yes, life if often crazy, but this kind of learning gives plenty of family time, which is precious during times of trial. Bless you--Nancy

Hi Ann--

Congrats on the homeschooling decision and welcome to the community of Anglican homeschoolers--such as it is!

Oh, and Nancy B, your commentor before me, is a good friend of mine--we were at Rez together before they moved to MA. She's a great person to have praying for you!
