All I'm doing is posting News

I have SO MUCH to say about our trip to Kenya, but it would be totally irresponsible of me to stop ordering my house and blog. There's just too much to do. So, you'll have to content yourself with snippets of news until the time is right.

That news being that this new baby looks very much like a girl. Couldn't be 100% sure, but through all the haze and stubbornness, it looks like we're probably in for a third baby girl and..............

What Are We Going to Call Her??!!!!!!

I'm not kidding.
I only have 19 more weeks to panic about this. The time is ticking away. Some of you should stop watching the ACNA Assembly Meeting and pray about it. On that note, I'm unashamedly delighted that Matt is not there and that he got to come to the ultrasound this morning and that later I'm going to bake tiny little beef pies and that he'll be here to eat them.

You could name her after some very tough, strong-minded saint like Catherine, Theresa, or Monica. As the fifth child, she's going to need the extra help. ;)

Aunt Megan really loves the name Chloe - just because.

Elphonsine Gladys, of course. I would have thought it obvious.

Assuming that you don't actually have a son names Romulus, I would say you have two problems.

What is her real name going to be, and what is her "blog" name going to be?

Also, given the nationwide shortage of A's and C's that has been reported on StandFirm, how does that affect your name choices>

Are you going to stick to the Welsh type names? If so, a book of British saints should yield a number of names.

I always wondered why you didn't pick Biblical names.

Hannah is one name that I like that I didn't have enough girls to use. The secular associations with the name Esther are not very good for me, but as a Biblical figure of a brave woman it would be hard to surpass her. Or the NT names like Lydia and Priscilla. I especially like Lydia, another name I didn't have enough girls to use.

Susan

Since Saint Anne is the mother of Mary, I vote for Mary. A surprisingly uncommon name at the moment. A Welsh or Gallic version of the name could be nice but really the English version is quite lovely.

Jane - The mother of both an Anne and a Mary.
