A Day of Preparation

In preparation for tomorrow's Court Hearing, Matt is fasting and praying. And I am praying and making Christmas sugar cookies, donuts, hedgehog buns, and winter vegetable soup and we're watching Miracle on 34th Street. I know its Advent, but I decided to throw all solemnity to the wind and party all day.

"For every thing there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven."

I would think for you guys this would be a time to throw all solemnity to the wind!

(Prayers rising for the Kennedy family and their parish from the grand prairies of North Texas.)

Anne,

I was sorry to read that you had such a miserable trip home from St. Charles.

You and your family and parish are in my heart and prayers. Last night I even dreamed about the judge's decision. I hope it turns out that well. (it was Solomon-like)

God is good all the time. All the time, God is good.

I was reminded to pray for you yesterday and today, when I haven't been even able to pray for myself, so if God can move my stubborn heart, anything's possible.
